When my boyfriend and I started looking for an acreage we had no idea how to find a good REALTOR®. We started out by looking on the MLS website, if we found a house we were interested in we contacted the sellers' REALTOR® and viewed the property through them. Turns out that wasn't the greatest idea... One REALTOR® actually told us that "no, we can't go back to look at that house we were supposed to look at earlier but couldn't because he couldn't get in to it". Well, as you can imagine, that was the last time we talked to him! After that we took a few weeks off looking before talking to our mortgage specialist who was able to give us two names of REALTOR®s that she has dealings with. We didn't even call the second REALTOR®, one look at Kevin's website and we knew we'd found our guy! (It was the soul patch that won us over.) As soon as we called Kevin he wanted to meet with us to discuss what we were looking for. Matt and I walked away from that meeting with the positive outlook that we had previously lost. Kevin was warm, professional and very interested in what we had to say. He also explained how a REALTOR® works and what we can expect from him, something none of the other REALTOR®s we met had done. Within a few short weeks we viewed several houses with Kevin and quicker than I though possible, found the ONE. During the offer process Kevin was fantastic, he helped us with all the legal jargon, gave advice only when asked for and was positive and supportive throughout. Kevin put in a lot of overtime when it came to the back and forth of countering and when he called us at 9pm one Saturday night it was with the greatest news we could hope for, we had our acreage! In the time between our offer being accepted and possession Kevin was always available to get answers to our many questions, he got our water test results for us and virtually held my hand as I stressed over every little detail. I really don't think that we would have gotten the place we wanted so easily, quickly and at the right price if it wasn't for Kevin. We recommend him to anyone and everyone we know and meet and wouldn't hesitate to contact him if we ever need a REALTOR® again. Kevin made the experience for us and both my boyfriend and I walked away from it (our first) with a sense of relief and satisfaction that we don't think we would have felt without Kevin. The change of address cards he thoughtfully provided was a nice touch too. If you (and we really think you should) meet Kevin make sure you check out his carbon fiber front lip, it's pretty sweet!
